Energy management & e-mobility

An installation that knows what electricity will cost in the next hour makes different decisions from one that only knows the current meter reading.

When we are the right fit — and when we are not

Where we carry weight — and where we do not.

A fit when …

  • Generation, storage, charging infrastructure and consumption should be optimised together.
  • Peak loads cost money and should be reduced automatically.
  • Market prices or CO₂ intensity should feed into the control logic.
  • Existing devices from different manufacturers have to work together.

Not a fit when …

  • You are looking for planning or construction of the installation itself — we do the software.
  • A single inverter with the vendor app already covers the need.
  • There is no access to device data and none can be established.
  • Below 10 person-days our ramp-up effort does not pay off for you.

What we actually do

  • Smart energy monitoring — real-time acquisition and visualisation via industrial sensors, solar inverters and smart meters.
  • Load management — peak shaving, self-consumption optimisation, dynamic balancing between grid supply, storage and generation.
  • Storage and grid integration — control of battery storage, intelligent switching between grid, storage and renewable sources.
  • E-mobility — connectivity for wallboxes and charging stations, time- and price-optimised charging including vehicle-side data.
  • Analytics and forecasting — predictive models for price, generation and consumption, time series analysis on PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB and InfluxDB.
  • Automation — Node-RED for workflows, custom API integrations for remote monitoring.

The difference between display and decision

Many energy systems show very well what has happened. The value only appears when a measurement turns into an automated action: charging storage when electricity is cheap and clean; shifting flexible loads before the peak forms; moving charging sessions into the favourable hours without anyone starting the morning without range. That decision logic is exactly the part we build.

Approach & collaboration models

We start with an analysis of your existing measurement data, then build monitoring, forecasting and control step by step. Reference: EcoPulse.

  • Victron
  • Deye
  • Node-RED

Typical project size

What a project costs with us.

Day rate €480–960 depending on the type of engagement

Below 10 person-days our ramp-up effort does not pay off for you. An analysis of your existing measurement data works as a short entry point.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices do you connect?

Inverters and meters via Modbus and SunSpec, storage and charging infrastructure via vendor-specific interfaces. We have hands-on experience with Victron and Deye among others, and with Node-RED as an automation layer.

Where does the price data come from?

Day-ahead prices from European bidding zones, complemented by grid CO₂ intensity data. Both feed into the optimisation as inputs, not only into the display.

What savings are realistic?

That depends on load profile, storage size and tariff; it can only be calculated honestly against your data. We therefore usually start with an analysis of your existing measurements before discussing control.
